• Assist cardiologists in cardiac and vascular procedures at a Level III Trauma Hospital
• Participates in procedures such as: diagnostic left and right heart cath, PCI, STEMI, peripheral angioplasty, CTO, AAA/EVAR, TEVAR, IABP and Impella insertion, pericardiocentesis, pseudoaneurysm repair/injection, directional and orbital atherectomy, thrombectomy, intravascular lithotripsy, FFR/DFR, snares and coils, implant/explant of pacemakers/ICD/BIV-ICD/temporary pacemaker/linq loop recorder, sheath removals and site access/management
• Utilized the manifold and medrad system to perform each case
• Proficient in equipment and systems such as: IVUS, GE and Toshiba X-Ray, Diamondback, Hawk, Priority One, Pronto, Angio Jet, Angioseal, Shockwave, Manta, and Perclose
• Valued member of the TAVR team since 2022, working alongside professionals from CVOR
• Uses Mac-Lab system to monitor patient hemodynamics and vital signs during procedures
• Maintains sterility during prepping and draping of patient, room and equipment set up and tear down.
• Assists in training students and new employees

• Scrubbed cases while panning the table using the Acist system

• Alternate between scrubbing and circulating each case

•Transport patients to and from the cath lab

•Seal groins using mynx and perclose systems under supervision of other technologists

• Trained in IR and special procedure cases such as fistulagram angioplasties, tunneled dialysis catheter placement and removal, biliary drain, lumbar spinal biopsy, and nephrostomy tube removal and replacements
