• Gained experience as an FFT2 on both 20 person Type 2 IA crews and a Type 6 Engine during 14 day assignments across the U.S. to develop knowledge of fuels management and fire suppression.

• Worked with the San Isabel Regulars on the Green Mountain RX, Monument RX, Speirs, Stockade Canyon and Diamond Complex Fires.

• Engaged in restoring a meadow to its natural state by cutting and clearing trees that were not native to the area.
• Proficient in operating BKR5000 handheld and mobile radios, communicating with dispatch, overhead and inter-crew.
• Spent 40+ hours on saw constructing Potential Control Lines in a preplanned Potential Operational Delineations (PODs) network on district.
