-Evaluate, diagnose, and provide clinical therapy to forensic client population for ongoing mental health stability and functioning

-Conducts assessments for high risk behaviors to determine ongoing treatment needs and plan

-Manages a crisis stabilization unit by providing clinical interventions, information, resources, referrals and change of status’ to ensure the highest level of safety for client/self, others, and property

-Collaborates with psychiatrist, psychologist, nursing and other clinical staff as needed to discuss client continuity of care, mortality and morbidity and best care practices

-Evaluate patients in the ER to determine need for civil commitment on a psychiatric involuntary level of care

-Respond to community as part of mobile crisis team to offer mental health screenings to patients showing signs of instability within the community; usually referred by family, friends, treatment programs or emergency services

-Facilitate collaborative care alongside psychiatrists, supervisors, medical and nursing

-Conducted health insurance pre-certifications to alleviate financial responsibility from inpatient hospital stays

-Conducted research using JCPD information systems and federal databases to support investigations

-Facilitated the release of local warrants, extraditions and motor vehicle information searches

-Researched, compiled and forwarded high priority reports for public reporting and media purposes

-Entered and canceled NCIC identifiable alarms for missing and wanted people, stolen property, vehicles/plates, jewelry, guns, bicycles, etc.

-Posted “APB” alerts and messages to communicate criminal information to other police agencies nationwide

-Conducted multiple trainings in 8 hour classroom sessions and provided on-the-job training (OJT) to new hires

-Managed a team of 9 to 16 enumerators, addressed and resolved issues in the field and provided feedback of work progress

-Reviewed, analyzed and submitted payroll

-Was offered an extension in employment term for effective team management, coupled with obtaining high ranking percentage stats

-Collaborated with the associate executive director to write and edit funding proposal

-Created budgets to manage expenditures and income

-Compiled data to evaluate program effectiveness and make suggestions for program improvements
