When I first started working at Christ Lutheran School, the first student I was assigned was in 4th grade. When we first started working together he couldn't read due to his delayed learning disorder and Dyslexia. He never finished any of his assignments and was constantly removed from his classroom due to his ADHD and ADD being too overwhelming for the teacher. Fast forward to today, he's in 6th grade and just received all A's and B's on his report card, he volunteers in front of his class to read, and no longer gets removed from his classroom.
I'm use to long hours, my current shifts are 6:30am-6:30pm so long hours do not bother me.
