Being the eldest of four boys, I'm familiar with the basics of childcare. I care deeply for my younger brothers (ages 15, 7, and 3) and have been helping look after them for as long as I can remember. Things like diaper changing, story-time, and bedtime routines come as second-nature for me. It's hard for me not to enjoy childcare since kids naturally curious in a way that most adults aren't. This is what makes them such great learners. My goal is to indulge curiosity in a healthy way that will benefit the kids I work with throughout their childhood.
Helped to facilitate activities and care for a dozen overnight campers age 10-11 for a period of roughly 1 month. Organized games, chaperoned events (Bonfires, camping trips, short music lessons, etc.), took attendance and kept the kids entertained for the duration of their stay.
