  • Assistant general manager at Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen franchise and 76 gas station
  • Both share the same building
  • Since 2019 we witnessed an increase of 300% in sales since the chicken sandwich brought the franchise more publicity
  • The spike in demand along with the COVID-19 outbreak caused a shortage in labor force and supplies
  • As AGM I had to organize and communicate with my team to work as effectively as possible
  • I handled inventory and ordering of food and supplies
  • Storage was limited so I had to observe sales to determine what we do and don't need
  • Performed maintenance and repairs on equipment (ie
  • Fryers, AC unit, ovens, water heater, soda machines, gas pumps, ect.)

Mechanical Engineer Intern

  • With a team of 8 people we designed, built, and tested a robot which cleans Q-tips and syringes using isopropyl alcohol
  • I was on the mechanical design team. I was responsible for design and construction of the syringe cleaning station
  • Used Solidworks to design the station as well as stress test it using finite element analysis. Also had to create shop drawings for machined parts utilizing GD&T
  • Ordered hardware, sensors, actuators, ect using a bill of materials
  • Syringe cleaning station worked upon completion of construction in April 2023
  • Assisted teammates in all other parts of the project (electrical, programming, and other station design/construction)
