Provide psychiatric and medical care to all in house/campus patients during my overnight 14 hour shift. This included all units adolescents, APA, general adult, older adults, the 3 higher acuity/ICC units, residential and mountain lodge adolescent units as well as Blake Recovery unit

Completed comprehensive voluntary and involuntary intakes 8-15 per nights of all new transfers from facilities all over the state and out of state at times, all walk ins, discharges, transfers

Respond to all medical and psychiatric emergencies/codes in house, assess, treated manage transfer to an acute care setting/hospital as warranted

Provide 24/7 coverage for all admitted patients. Collaborate, discuss cases and plan of care with attending physicians, consults, ICU screeners as warranted,
•Complete 7-10 H&P for admitted patients via the emergency department, transferred from other facilities, and direct admissions upon request of attending providers.
• Complete discharge/transfer summaries and orders including follow up as needed.
• As part of the rapid response team respond to all emergencies in all inpatient units activated by nurses, family members or triggered by specific alerts from the electronic chart.
• Provide support and respond to all calls/concerns from floor nurses, manage all urgent and non urgent issues for admitted patients over night

Became an essential part of a very dynamic psychiatric department. Provided short and indefinite term psychiatric care to patient in an outpatient setting post hospitalization. Managed all aspect of my role in behavioral medicine. Coordinate with interdisciplinary team reviewed potential pts who could benefit from behavioral medicine, accepted consults, referrals, referred to IOP and higher level of care

Rotated in the inpatient unit, completed admissions from the ED of pts requiring inpatient hospitalizations for acute psychiatric decompensation. This comprehensive support role also included consultation liaison -provided coverage on Fridays -saw all new consults, managed all new, acute on chronic psychiatric conditions not excluding dual diagnosis, as well as support IOP, complete initial assessments, follow ups, lead the IOP treatment team, discuss patients and my clinical progress with patients in weekly supervision

Provide medical, psychiatric care to all incarcerated patients, young adults, women, men older adults

Initiate and manage poly substance detox. MAT

Conduct comprehensive history, physical exams of all new patients, complete physical exams during yearly and chronic evaluation, manage chronic and acute on chronic conditions, collaborate with treatment team, call consults, coordinate follow ups with specialty and transfers out

Manage acute on chronic condition, provide episodic care, complete assessments/plans order and interpret labs, imaging, treat accordingly

Respond to all in house urgencies emergencies transfer to acute care setting when warranted

Provide medical care to all Kean Students

Manage episodic, self limiting conditions, as well as chronic care conditions, DM, Asthma, seizures, fairly stable anxiety, depression, conduct physical exams, pelvic exams, treat episodic STIs

Provide student counseling and health education each visit including birth control, STI screening and treatment.

Prescribe contraception, Plan B as well as counseling/referrals to planned parenthood
Provide psychiatric evaluation for students as warranted.
Make referrals as needed to community resources and specialty care
