Pre loop instruments making sure is ready to shoot loop from instruments on the field to DCS or Triconex cabinets, making sure all wires are landed on the correct terminal block from Rie building to junction box to instruments on the field, using Trex heart to calibrate instruments, shooting loops simulate pressure or current 4-20 milliamps and use crystal and pump to send pressure value to Triconex sis system or C300. using 725 to drive temperature transmitters and make sure we have the correct type of wiring landed to read the correct temperature ambient reading. And use 789 to troubleshoot instrument and inspect for short on wire on field. QA/QC for mechanical instrumentation and electrical inspecting conduit and tubing making sure they are up to mechanical drawing and specs and correct wiring diagram. knowledge how to read p&ids and loop folders isometric drawing for piping.
