Pre-commissioning (Preparation & Safety):

Planning: Define the scope and, with input from stakeholders, create a basis of design document (BOD).

Safety Protocols : Implement strict lockout/ tagout (LOTO) procedures and verify the advance of voltage before work begins.

Visual inspections: Check for mechanical completeness of equipment . Pre-functional testing (Cold Commissioning):

Insulation Resistance Testing: Verify integrity of cables and insulation.

Continuity and polarity Checks: ensure circuits are complete and connected correctly .

Functional testing & Energisation (Hot Commissioning):Energisation : Verify that subsystems (e.g., UPS, generators) function together, synch as testing automatic transfer switches during a simulated power outage.

Documentation: Compile all test reports checklists, and drawings.

Deficiency Tracking: Resolve all identified issues.

• Troubleshot cables and equipment; tested meg cables and electrical equipment as well as ohm tested cables and motors.
• Inspected machine parts for conformance to product specifications. Collaborated with clients to maintain smooth workflow and efficient operations.
• Installed, repaired and tested electrical and Instrumentation systems while interpreting blueprints, schematics, drawings and layouts to ensure accurate repairs.
