25 Years of experience, as a soils and materials technician, gained during construction of various types of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Duties included field control, observation and compaction testing during mass grading operations in addition to materials testing pertaining to asphalt, asphaltic concrete, steel rebar, post-tensioning and masonry. Performed observation and testing services on hundreds of thousands of cubic yards on hillside residential subdivisions during mass grading, overlooked landslide remedial grading operations, documented and tested backfill on miles of underground utility and fault trenches, supervised the demolition and rebuild of entire public and private school campuses, observed and tested materials on numerous State highways, inspected tens of city and county infrastructure jobs throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and the Central Valley, inspected pier and spread footings for power and solar energy steel lattice towers and cellular towers in addition to numerous Caltrans projects. Mentored and trained new technicians on field control methodology, equipment calibration, troubleshooting and field documentation for years.
