I am very driven to get started with my career in psychology and I believe that critical research at CHOP would be the perfect start. I am dedicated to observing how the process of a research study is conducted and learning from professionals, I am a firm believer that experience is something that is invaluable regardless of the career you're in. Regarding an internship in critical research, I would be the best option to have on the team due to my leadership abilities, patience, and dedication to learning about the skills, and the procedures needed to start a career in psychology and research programs. Autism research and adolescent depression prevention would be a good area for me to be in because I have experience in those areas from highschool and college. In highschool and college I took classes that involved children developement, dealing with children hands on at times and I even did work with autistic children throughout school. At the end of highschool I spent a month and a half doing a community study program at my local middle school dealing with troubled children. I am a great candidate for this internship and I hope you heavily consider the contribution I could give, I am dedicated to starting my journey now and learning from professionals that could help further my career.
