PROFESSIONAL I have been employed at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and IMF for 17 SUMMARY years, with twelve years of extensive knowledge on motor and generator maintenance, repair and troubleshooting during the overhaul and upkeep of nuclear submarines. I am a subject matter expert on submarine equipment including Motor Generators, Diesel Generators, Turbine Generators, Emergency Propulsion Motors, Emergency Turbine Generators, Trim and Drain Pump Motors and various AC & DC motors.

I have two years of experience maintaining, repairing and testing various switchboards, circuit breakers and controllers

For the past three years, I have been a nuclear electrician. I have extensively read and interpreted various technical manuals, documents and drawings in order to successfully fabricate a number of components.

  • Collaborate with all technical codes providing suggestions for repairs during troubleshooting and repairs.

  • Interpret ship drawings, alterations and ship alterations to prepare the work team with the required knowledge to execute the work package.
  • Provide technical work document feedback to technical codes in order to improve future work instructions and flow.
  • Prepared deficiency logs for technical codes requesting support on issues identified during the execution of work packages but also providing possible solutions.
  • Perform duties above the current pay grade including the following: Coordinate and communicate the work execution by communicating with support/lead shops and technical codes to ensure smooth execution of work packages.
  • Strategize the timing, manning and required support for work packages with work leaders and supervisor.
  • Review completed work packages to ensure all works steps are executed and the repair/maintenance specifics are met.
  • Initiated and volunteered for additional work duties including the maintaining special tools, hardware and materials list and inventory.
  • Frequently coordinated with temp services on setting up ventilation and establishing atmospheric controls.
