Same as with Ingles Supermarkets.
I am happily married for the last 28 years and I have 3 children. My oldest son is 25 and and is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in environmental engineering. He is married, owns a home in Easley, and works for a firm in Greenville. My 7 year old daughter went to Heaven in 2012 and is waiting on me there. We have navigated this storm as well as we can, leaning daily on the strength and grace that Jesus provides to us. We were blessed in 2016 with another son who is 9 years old. He is a gift from God, and although he wears this old man out, he has brought a lot of joy back into our lives. I coached my oldest through baseball, football, and basketball until he got to middle school, and I am doing the same with my youngest now. Being a Dad is the thrill of my life and that is and will continue to be my number one priority. You will see from 2013-2017 I was on the DSD side of the grocery business. I left Ingles for a few years after the death of my daughter to catch my breath and figure out how I was going to live. I also ran for and was elected Mayor of Liberty during this period. I served one term and would have run for reelection had we not had my youngest son in 2016. This experience was good for me as I learned a great deal about government and how different it is from the private sector. I have been through a lot, seen a lot, and held many different positions in my life. The experience I have gained through all these seasons have formed me into who I am today and prepared me for any challenge that I may face wherever God leads me.
