As a Daily Illini sports Staff Writer I have been able to maintain a level of professionalism when it comes to interacting with teams and coaches. Having covered both Volleyball and Softball for UIUC has helped give me an opportunity to gain experience in on the field reporting. I am able to make deadlines whether its for a recap of a game that had just occurred or a preview of a game that is coming up. While working at Kirby Foods as a Night Manager I have been able to help guide my workers to what I expect from them during there shifts. I've also trained new workers and show them what needs to be done. When I was a Radio DJ during my time at Parkland I would cover a wide variety of topics on my shows. I split my shows in to two hours for the first hour I covered anything that was going on in the sports world. The second hour was always focused on entertainment news and reviews of the top shows that I had watched from that week. I had two shows that I was on. Both shows were centered on the same stuff but the second show I was on I had a Co-Host with me. I've been able to have conversations with coaches and players in both my time at Parkland and to this point at UIUC.
I have been a Chicago sports fan my entire life. I have attended many sporting events in Chicago. My favorite event I attended was 2018 Bears Vs Packers when the Bears won the division. I am also a big Cubs fan and have attended there games quite a few times. The most recent game I attended was Illini night against the Phillies. In my free time I like playing Video Games and watching movies and TV shows.
