  • I currently am certified in 3 positions in my department.
  • I can scan, which is where I will scan each product that comes down the conveyor line or from bulk pick on pallets.
  • Then I will put the correct products on the correct pallets, that go with that entire order and then close it out and ensuring it is wrapped with shrink wrap and the proper paperwork and labeling is on the order, as well as loose items, that don't have to go on pallets.
  • When I load the 53 foot trailers as I drive a counter balance forklift, I will take the orders that are on pallets and load them, either to straight load them or stack the pallets when necessary, all while ensuring that I don't damage any of the products that are on the pallets.
  • Also, I will load the loose items that are by themselves or with the orders that has pallets with them, or the long items that are stored on the A-frame.
  • When I am on the tugger, I will have multiple carts that are attached to the tugger and I will pick up loose products from bulk pick that can't ride on the belt in totes or as is, then I will deliver them to the correct lanes, all while doing this in an efficient matter.
  • Also, I will pick up all the ladders that customers have ordered and put them on the carts and deliver them to the correct lanes as well and also, use the A-frame cart to deliver the long items that can only go on the A-frames to the correct lanes.
  • As I drive the forklift and the tugger, I am driving around a lot of other forklifts, order pickers, and reach trucks, as we have a lot of pie equipment in our facility.
  • It is a fast paced environment as there are tight lanes, ensuring that I don't run in to other equipment.
