I am seeking gainful employment in a company that will provide growth and stability while enabling me to use my skills and strengths in the field with which I am passionately committed. I adapt well, to changes. Don’t mind if I come across a company with a different career path. Im very well mechanically inclined and with a great memory bank. Knowledgeable is Power! Powerline Mechanic

  • ,Responsible for all aspects of construction and repair of distribution system, both overhead and underground lines
  • Storm restoration and emergency service call response
  • Installed and operated pole top re-closers, load breaks, air breaks, capacitor banks, regulators and cutouts
  • Member of load break maintenance crew preforming live line repairs, new construction, and maintenance with a primary voltage any where from 4kv to 35kv rubber gloving procedures with added safety precautions, Isolate and Insolate.
  • Performed storm restoration in New England, Mid-West and all of East Coast
  • Trained in clearance and control, installation of grounds, personal red tag, clearance red tag, customer tag, also non operational tagging equipment, repairing dead or de-energized conductors, ohming parallel conductors
  • Familiar with test equipment MRVD, HALO, phasing sticks, load buster, transformer test equipment, testing regulators with the bat wing. Along with underground fault testing equipment
  • Safety is my number one goal of each day, attached with production in a timely and fashionable manner! (Craftsmanship) Communication is Key
