Responsible for constructing wide variety of assembly fixtures, gauges, inspection tools, etc. needed to support custom stator and rotor production facility. Collaborate with Engineering to design, proof and review tooling blueprints for in-house construction as well as provide time estimates and material sourcing. Maintain machines and equipment while keeping work area clean, accident-free and organized using 5S methods. Experienced and comfortable operating broad spectrum of machines including Manual and CNC mills & lathes, surface and OD grinders, vertical and horizontal saws, MIG, TIG, and Oxy/Acetylene welding, and all forms of inspection and measuring equipment including manual CMM. Forklift certified & licensed and active member of Safety Response Team.

Production machinist at electric motor manufacturer. Duties included OD grinding, set up & operation of 2 axis CNC lathe, manual chucker & engine lathes, drill presses, and tapping station.

General building maintenance, lawncare & athletic field maintenance, snow removal, power equipment maintenance, misc. welding and fabrication, and light carpentry.

Create precision custom packaging machine components with manual and CNC mills & lathes, surface grinders, and misc. sheet metal fabrication equipment. Some fixture & tooling design and fabrication.
