  • Serving with interim headmaster to stabilize a hurting community following the Oct. 2021 resignation of the previous headmaster.
  • Overseeing the development of the new PRCA South School in south Tucson.
  • Led the 6 month renovation of a Lutheran church to be fully prepared for the first day of school in August 2022 at PRCA South
  • Supporting the PRCA South principal, teachers, and staff to continuously develop the dual-language curriculum for K-2 students and developing a phased budget plan for the next several years
  • Overseeing the development of the master plan and the subsequent construction of infrastructure and classrooms at PRCA South
  • Formulated key elements for the PRCA South program to attract families to this first of its kind school in a lower socio-economic neighborhood
  • Partnering with the development director and key board members to raise funds, and host events, to meet the ever-growing needs at PRCA South
  • Collaborating with administrators, students, and parents to establish a system for 6th-12th grade school uniforms (Successfully launched Aug. 2021)
  • Supporting the facilities director to meet the needs of all three schools, identify the feasibility for a new student parking lot, along with aspects in the current construction of a new MPR building
  • Partnering with the Covenantal Parent Fellowship to establish new systems for communication, volunteerism, traditions, in order to improve trust and relationships in the school community.
  • Coaching the new Admissions Director in the development process of new systems to align with the mission of the school
  • Encouraging the new Director of Scholarships in her first year to establish new systems overall, navigate ESAs, and specifically care for all families at PRCA South to receive corporate tax credits,
  • Developed the new PRCA Parent Climate Survey (comprehensive) to create new baseline data for the school's leadership. This is a new system for the school. All results communicated with parents.

Facility Development:

  • Led continuous refinement of "Shared Facility Agreement" between church and school resulting in ongoing unity and successful ministry relationships on campus
  • Previous experience in construction industry allowed for development of numerous facility improvements with significant cost savings
  • Collaborated with area builders, stakeholders, staff, architects, and engineers to successfully design an innovative school campus on nine acres for 750 students
  • $1m was raised; with additional $5m-$9m estimated per feasibility study. The sudden 2008 financial crisis prevented further progress on above project
  • Successfully raised discretionary funds above tuition and tax credit income each year thereafter (approx. $100K per year/$180K in 2019) to meet school's ongoing technology, facility, and transportation needs

Business Development:

  • Successful budgeting strategies were developed and implemented (in economic downturn 2008-2012) with business manager and board to effectively meet ever-changing needs in school community and improve effectiveness. Increased competition also occurred in the area, in the same period as five charter schools were established within five-mile radius
  • Achieved and maintained enrollment stability while improving effectiveness-post recession (2012-2016)
  • Continuous annual refinement of systems to help families take advantage of Arizona Tuition Tax Credit program resulted in nearly 50% attending at no cost and 90% receiving some degree of assistance
  • Enrollment Growth: Increase of 52% (1999-2008); Increase of 30% (2016-2020)
  • Development of “Rigorous. Relevant. Relational.” marketing campaigns (developed by staff) effectively reached millennial and Gen Z
  • Initiated collaborative process which restructured benefits plan for school, church, and preschool, resulting in significant cost savings for each group
  • Successfully engaged Institute of School Management (I.S.M. ) to launch "Arizona Christian School Consortium" for lower-cost medical benefits - established in 2016
  • Established "Parent-Teacher Fellowship" to relationally engage all volunteers; to ensure all were known and personally appreciated by leadership.
  • CCS success was directly correlated with level of volunteerism and positive climate fostered by volunteers.
  • Over 60% of parents in school volunteered to positively address needs of various kinds (over 40 large events/dozens of small classroom events). Attaining the CCS mission is directly correlated with CCS volunteers and "co-owners."

School Board:

  • God gifted CCS with effective and anointed school board members. Above achievements would not have been possible without their wisdom, guidance, governance, and healthy relationships within the Casas Christian School Board
  • Successfully recruited school board members who represented cross-section of community. A diverse group of talented individuals with expertise in their related fields
