Started out and happily still employed with Equipment Share as a Heavy equipment hauler. While being employed for Equipment Share I have taken on multiple new outlooks on hauling equipment as well as multitasking with customers orders and pick up and drop off locations. Working here has taught me to multitask with Customers and our Logistic team to ensure all deliveries are made properly to the correct destination and on time. In the slower seasons I take advantage of multiple opportunity's to work in the shop with the mechanics checking in machines and occasionally helping in the wash bay to free up our yard techs as they have a lot to do on there plate. I have had the opportunity to become my branches Heavy Hauler operating a 2024 Peterbilt 567 Heavy Haul Day cab with a Load king low boy 7 axle set up as well as a 2024 567 Day cab light duty Peterbilt with a Ledwell Double Hydratail trailer 5 axle set up. I have personally taken new drivers under my wing and guidance to ensure proper safety equipment and habits are met.
Over my spare time I would use load boards to secure loads across the Midwest to haul loads varying from small pallets of weights to large steel pipe out of Sioux city. Staying local to the Nebraska district I would operate a 1988 Peterbilt 379 with the CAT 3406B Engine with an Eaton 18 speed transmission. The trailer I had to lease was a 2017 Benson 48 FT aluminum deck trailer. Driving an older truck taught me Proper Pre trips and Post trips save thousands of dollars in the long run as well as maintaining a clean log book keeps audits and DOT officials happy.
TMC Transportation had started my full time Over the road driving experience as I was hired on to drive for the TMC SPECIALIZED division for John Deere, AG hauling agricultural machines across the country. Load up point was always in Ankeny, IA at the John Deere plant and I would manage my time and always validate the best possible route to my destinations usually a few states apart from one another. While being full time OTR I really leaned into taking time to trip plan effectively to avoid low bridges and obstacles along my routes. With my time at TMC I never received a bad review or failed any employment drug test.
My time spent with Lightning Logistics was brief as they specialized in Box truck transportation services such as transporting automotive car parts to John Deere and CASE equipment to stores all around the midwest. I became a Driver Lead Manager as took account of 11 Drivers under my observation every night starting at the loading dock at 21:00 to 04:00. If a Driver called out it was my duty to find a prompt replacement to make sure all deliveries made it to there respective destinations in a timely manner, Occasionally jumping behind the wheel at times to ensure a one hundred percent success rate.
After Graduating MMI in Phoenix, AZ in October of 2020 I was recruited to work in Omaha, NE for Dillon Brothers Motorsports as I excelled in many Brands of machines. As a top tier motorcycle technician, I was tasked from everyday routine Diagnosis's to complete frame off repairs such as engine and transmission swaps to custom wiring harness install or repairs. in late of 2021 I had received the Gold Mastery award for Indian Motorcycles and Kawasaki Motorcycles. I ended my time with Dillon brothers to pursue truck driving.
