• Measured, cut and shaped wood materials to specifications using hand tools, such as saws and chisels.
• Fitted door locksets, deadbolts and other hardware on doors according to manufacturer's instructions.

• Read blueprints, schematics and drawings to determine layout requirements.
• Installed interior trim work such as baseboards and moldings around windows and doors.
• Contracted and collaborated with specialty sub-contractors for special trade jobs or installations.

• Oversee daily equipment inspections, Perform routine checks for gasses and air quality.
• Install roof bolts and cable bolts within set parameters and federally specific standards.
• Maintain composure even when the stress levels imposed on an operator can be extremely high.

During my tenure at Century Aluminum I proved that the heat would not be an issue for me in any way and I showed that I am dedicated to the company. Even on the hottest of days I gave my all and stayed relentless.

In such a hostile and dangerous environment that a coal mine can bring, safety is the number one skill that a miner can posses. I was extensively educated in troubleshooting, mechanical knowledge, communication: verbal & non-verbal, as well as native fluency in mechanical Spanish terms. Accomplishing goals in a team manner was also instilled while working within the units that I had the pleasure of leading.

This was the first job I had ever had that taught me how to file extensive paperwork due to the large scale of the factory in which we were contracted to service. Scientific data, data calculation, and information troubleshooting were obstacles on a daily basis as well as accomplishing goals within a given time parameter.
