I was enrolled at SCI for Electrical and HVAC courses. Upon completion, I obtained an electrical apprentice license and am certified as an HVAC technician. Afterwards, I took an additional course in computer support. I maintained my GPA above 3.5 and graduated in August of 2023.
From August 2023 to February of 2024, I was enrolled in a program called Ford-Lincoln, which was certified through the VA. It allowed me to work on domestic vehicles under the guidance of a head mechanic while obtaining certifications through Ford. I performed routine maintenance services and replaced multiple components including but not limited to 02 sensors, drive shafts, catalytic converters, wheel hubs, brake lines, control arms, shocks, struts, water pumps, drive belts, turbos, alternators, blower motors and much more. Major repairs that I assisted with were transmission and engine swaps.
As a SR MSP, I was in charge of maintaining light industrial equipment for the Home Depot. The equipment included but not limited to blind cutters, paint shakers, panel saws, radial arm saws, power equipment, ladders, gates and etc. When a piece of equipment was inoperable, my job was to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair. Using a multi-meter to determine voltage and continuity for a variety of components found through a unit such as capacitors, fuses, switches and etc. Often times jobs called for rewiring which involved using wire strippers, black tape, wire nuts, terminals and etc. Other responsibilities included keeping up with the latest technology (android/iPhone) for company meetings, submitting tech stock requests, and filling out credit card expense reports.
