• Responsible for the development and execution of a master plan for the community covering all levels of care over 15 years.
• Completed a $20M renovation and expansion of the Nursing facility to move to the neighborhood model and private rooms
• Completed a $3M renovation of the Personal Care common areas and living spaces
• Currently completing a $15M renovations of retirement living villas and apartments (as they are vacated); Completed a $5M renovation of the clubhouse and common areas.
• Added a medical clinic and private pay home care business within the Retirement Living (RL)clubhouse.
• Grew RL occupancy to 98 percent in 2024.
• Maintain 80-85 percent retention of staff.

• Named the first Regional Executive Director for Erickson with regional overnight of four communities, 4000 staff and 10,000 residents.
• As Erickson grew, took on four additional communities that were in various stages of development.
• Was the senior mgmt interface with several NFP Boards for the communities in my region.
• Establish annual performance goals for executive directors to include financial performance, occupancy goals, employee and resident satisfaction and retention.

• Directed operations for a community comprising 2300 residents and 1000 employees in Parkville, MD.
• Maintained occupancy of 95 percent for the 1400 independent lIving units.
• Maintained high levels of employee and resident satisfaction.

• Completed executive training program shadowing staff from every department and completing special projects
• Issued an RFP to hire a firm to begin annual resident and employee satisfaction for the company. Hired Holleran consulting to begin satisfaction survey in 1996.

Joined the Health Care Division of EDS on a major systems implementation of a national account processing system that when completed gave GM a competitive advantage in benefit negotiations with the UAW.

Led teams of systems analysts in the development, testing and installation of the system at 72 Blue Cross Blue Shield organizations across the country.

Relocated to Atlanta to work with NASCO to implement the national account processing system for other large geographically dispersed companies like AT&T and Chrysler.

Relocated to New York to a manger the NASCO system business for Empire Blue Cross Blue Shiled.
