- Manually set up and Operated Okuma CNC Vertical Mill w/60" Table.
- Used Forklifts, Overhead Bridge Cranes and Jib Cranes to Safely move Material.
- Independently used Setup Sheets to Properly Setup CNC Mill using Jigs, Vices, Fixtures and other Work Holding Devices.
- Worked Independently with Little to No Supervision.
- Worked with Engineers and Programmers in order to get New Parts to Spec. And to Minimize Material Waste and Decrease Heavy Wear and Tear on Machines and Tooling. Also, Recommended Alternative Tooling for Particular Operations.
- Read and Interpreted Blueprints. Both before Cutting Parts and after. To Check Tolerances and to Calculate and Verify Final Dimensions.
- Used Ink and Scribes to Map out Material Blanks for Machining.
- Used Precision Measuring Devices like Calipers, Dial Indicators, Micrometers, Depth Micrometers, Thread, Plug and Radius Gauges.
- Used Setup Sheets and Read G-Code in order to Set Proper Tooling and Material Depths.
- Read G-Code in order to know what Machine will do.
- Set up and Operated Manual and CNC Saw (as Needed).
- Communicate with Supervisor and Maintenance when Machine has Issues.
- Write thorough Pass-downs to following shift (next Machinist on Machine).
- Kept Area Clean and Maintained Machines (Oil and Clean-out Chips).
