Culinary Competition

  • My junior year of high school I enrolled to the school culinary class. I liked it so much I decided to take it my senior year as well. During the middle of the school year my chef told us about a cooking competition that would be taking place end of the school year against other schools in California. We practiced once a week, usually for about 3-4 hours and it consisted of preparing the separate dishes that were given to the four of us. All that practice pays off because we score 3rd place (highest that Vista High School has won at the time).
