I was part of a special Fleet of tow operators who would be deployed in an event of a catastrophe. For example, I and about 2,300 other tow operators were sent to Fort Myers Florida for hurricane Helene. I would retrieve vehicles from water, garages, trees and any other area that has a vehicle. I was deployed there for 4 months. When we are not deployed we out of our area yard, which for me was, Martinez, Ca. I would be sent throughout the Bay Area to pick up vehicles from body shops, tow yard and residential. These were then taken to our yard for inspection for the insurance company.

I would help receive AM products that may be needed to complete a order that will go out same day. I would pack and create shipping labels for my route. I was in charge of loading my truck aligned with my stops. Making sure any timed deliveries are on time and accurate. After all material has be delivered I would go and pick up product from different suppliers in a timely manner. Once back to warehouse I would unload any material picked up, and turn in all paper work for the day.

Pre-Trip inspection prior to each shift . AAA dispatched calls to us for roadside service , battery or towing. I was on rotation for Tracy P.D and C.H.P. Any down time I was responsible to reorganizing the vehicles in the yard. Get cars ready for a Pick N Pull run. Servicing trucks and cleaning outside and inside. I was also in charge of training new hires, being that I was more patient with new hires.

Down time consist of pulling car for customers or other towing company's that will be picking up car. Clean and organize trucks and make sure all trucks are fully supplied with materials need for towing. Also I would train new hires.
