At Unity Pharmacy I handled several different tasks. Starting with common busy work, like taking the trash out, shredding papers, vacuumed at the end of the day, counted the register, turned off computers during closing, locked the back door, restocked the shelves, restocked the fridge, reordered inventory, unpacked deliveries, signed for packages, brought medicine out to cars when patients couldn't make it inside, along with closing down systems during closing. My more important tasks were; giving DMV eye tests, refilling prescriptions over the phone and in person, counting and bottling pills/ liquids, putting together equipment like walkers and wheel chairs, answering the phone to assist patients, briefed the pharmacist when something outside of my ability was needed, I was the head cashier and dealt with most if not all transactions and returns during my shifts, I also helped train new employees with the register.
