Community Advocate
I served in the city of Flint, Michigan as a community organizer for three years. Much of my work involved the less fortunate and those who could not advocate for themselves. I assisted in the water crisis by coordinating the process for water delivery from outside entities for Flint. I also was instrumental in bringing the "Cease-Fire" program to the city of Flint, and worked closely with Mayor Dane Walling to implement this to lower the rise in gun related issues.
