- Manages pest control activities for area through evaluation and auditing of pest population, identification and elimination of micro-habitats, selection of proper pesticides and coordination of inspections.
- Maintains control over the microbial environment in plant through detailed cleaning of all plant equipment and surfaces, sanitation of high-risk areas, and management of environmental sampling program, adjusting efforts to minimize counts.
- Performs preventive maintenance on all sanitation equipment.
- Provides early detection of equipment degradation or malfunction throughout the plant.
- Participate in Master Cleaning Schedule, Shutdown/Start-up cleaning schedules
- Maintains grounds and perimeter of plant along with roof and roof-mounted equipment.
- Responsible for communicating and elevating any quality and food safety concerns to the site.
