  • Over fourteen years of experience working on integrated electronic systems between the ECM and Comm/Nav shops
  • Have advance knowledge of entire aircraft systems and how these systems interact with additional systems to interpret errors and analyze operating characteristics to isolate malfunctions in avionic systems, radar-integrated systems, multiplexed data-bus systems, and recording navigation systems using applicable technical data
  • Trained over 20 additional members of the shop who have obtained their 5- and/or 7-level certifications
  • Having already held the Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) AFSC, 2A573C, was able to seamlessly merge into the new combined AFSC 2A871E Communications and Navigation shop
  • Have received 4’s or higher on technician performance appraisals, 5's being the highest achievement.
  • Experienced with use of precision measuring and calibrating equipment. Often the job requires us to use a variety of test, measuring, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE)
  • Majority of work involves troubleshooting our systems where knowledge of electronic principles and the entire system allows me to identify, isolate, and repair malfunctions -Possess a thorough knowledge of principles of digital and analog circuits, electro-mechanical devices, solid state devices, snychro/servo operation and integrated circuit theory
  • Am able to interpret and trace schematics, logic and wiring diagrams which helps expedite troubleshooting and repair
  • Provide accurate Estimated Time for Completion (ETIC) for aircraft work
  • Ensure safety and security of personnel and equipment
  • Order appropriate aircraft parts and supplies as appropriate for aircraft malfunctions
