  • This information included serious incident/casualty reports, safety messages the assignment of tasking orders and the production of operation orders
  • I also compiled all data for our weekly Commanders Update Brief and I facilitated the actual briefing as well

De-Mining Coordinator

  • I served as the Land Mine Removal Coordinator for all of the United States Forces in Afghanistan
  • I researched, wrote a proposal for a 66 million dollar mine removal contract and then pushed the proposal through the requisition board
  • I administered and oversaw the execution of this contract
  • I was in indirect command of over 200 Afghan Nationals and their expat supervisors
  • I was responsible for the clearing of over 12000 square meters of landmine or UXO contaminated ground In direct support of the Afghanistan Surge Campaign

  • I lead these troops on a 300 mile convoy to Diyala Province North of Baghdad
  • My Soldiers provided Engineering support to the entire province including security and force protection
