I currently supervise and train nine County Veteran Service Officers in District 6, which comprise counties between Fort Smith and Texarkana; in addition, I advise Arkansas Veterans on information regarding their VA benefits and provide VA disability and pension claims assistance
I also provide information and counseling to Veterans concerning VA benefit eligibility, documentation needed, and forms to use in completing VA benefit applications
Furthermore, I provide Veterans with information on the appeals process and requirements, and I act as the Veterans advocate during appeals hearings before Board of Veterans Appeals (BVA) Law Judge by acting as an advocate on behalf of Veterans to get them the benefits they deserve
Finally, I research State and Federal Laws to obtain information to support my clients claim contentions by reviewing medical terminology to ascertain information related to various diagnoses, treatments, and prognoses in order to take specific claims actions on the Veterans behalf
