Daily duties include making first contact for new complex claims involving coverage in question claims for non-listed drivers, mechanical failure, potential fraud, non payment cancellation claims to total loss claims. All claims are investigated and processed accordingly. I also maintain a claims volume of up to 120-150 claims. Another daily duty is to maintain incoming status calls and assist members as needed as well as monitoring my personal voicemail.
Daily duties are to contact and follow up with claimants, lien holders, and attorneys after a vehicle has been declared a total loss. Responsibilities are to resolve questions and educate about the next step in the claim process. Multiple forms of contact are used and documented in diary/company web portal on a 2-3 day basis to inform management and other team members on the status of the claim. Other requirements in this position are to make offers, handle power of attorney paper work, issue payments, reimburse invoices for towing & rentals, and close claims all while complying with various state compliance laws.
