  • Able to problem solve and conflict resolution with both customer and associates.
  • Provide safe environment both inside and out of the store. As the safety manager I am able to help all to work and shop in a safe place. When we have an accident I am the main point person that will handle all points of communication with both customer/associate as well insurance company issues. These are very time sensitive demands.
  • Comply with all State and County audits. Department of Food and Agriculture as well Erie County Weights and Measures. As an assistant we passed every single audit at any store I was a part of. Scoring the highest available grade possible. Ensure that the Tops internal audits ae completed to the expectations of the company. Our last 3 internal audits we passed in the 90 percentile.
  • Provide sales and labor reports to corporate leadership on weekly and monthly basis. Reviewing data from the previous period and adjusting the next in a timely matter with strict deadlines.
  • Plan weekly sales meeting to boost sales as well limit profit loss. We were able to consistently beat last year sales for the past year. As well we were able to limit loss (shrink) on a monthly basis.
  • Able to schedule and manage multiple department leads at the same time as well ensure daily and weekly compliance with strict deadlines.
  • Be your Community champion. Able to handle donations for all area business and organizations. Tops loves to give back to the community and does through one person per store.
  • Provide action plans for profit loss situations. Requires constant review of sales and loss data. Hold individual and class room type meetings to ensure communication is clear and concise. Follow up with action plan and adjust as needed.
  • Assist the store manager in day to day operations of opening and closing the store
  • Execute monthly and yearly inventories. These would include areas of the store which we are responsible for over 5 million in products as well another 1 million in supplies and equipment.

  • Planning, organizing and the execution of Tops Food Show events. This buying would bring all 140 stores to one building, during one day where stores would buy products at a total of on average of 10 million dollars. Arranging products to be ordered from over 150 vendors ranging from brand names like Kraft to local vendors like Bar-Bill. Compiling all information and sending to corporate in a very timely matter. Making sure once product is secure, planning distribution to all stores with in a couple months from event.


  • Communication from store to corporate and corporate to store. Moving product from store to store during all events, holidays, snow storms as well Covid. Working with stores on profit loss opportunities and having an action plan which included weekly follow up and monthly reporting with top management.


  • Organizing and planning store remodels and re-grandopenings. Working with all store personal during the construction process and well putting the store in a safe and shoppable space for both associates and shoppers. Able to work with many aspects and moving parts at the same time to complete the project with astrict deadline.
