Clinical Education and Company policies
- Perform product inservices at all of my accounts on GI Endoscopy products and procedures
- (monthly, bi-monthly, half-yearly) as needed for product updates for current and new staff
- Educate staff (all levels) using powerpoint presentations, demonstration and return demonstration with emphasis on retention of basic steps of operation and procedural knowledge to enhance patient care
- Support department goals by aligning educational programs with staff training objectives
- Provide training for all levels of Endoscopy nurse and technician on products and procedures improving staff competency
- Facilitate open communication between management and clinical staff to address clinical education needs and implement solutions to improve overall competency as Endoscopy assistants
- Current on emerging technologies and products in the Endoscopy field incorporating them into clinical teaching of GI Staff
- Collaborate with Marketing Development Manager to present new product from initial introduction to clinical decision makers through product evaluation and initial case support

- Didactic lectures presented by Dr. Leung reviewing products and procedures for Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio -Pancreatography procedure ERCP (10 stations/products).
- Hands-on activities (10 stations)-Each product was presented at the stations. Products were in-serviced and staff performed return-demonstration on each after seeing a powerpoint presentation on the product and procedure it is used in.
- Hands-on Stations including ERCP simulators and endoscopes for more realistic experience for attendees.
- Partnering with other vendors created a more comprehensive educational experience and enhanced the overall benefit.
