• Coordinates social studies curriculum design and support for multiple grade levels at the school and at the county levels. Teaches 7th and 8th grade Social Studies to 80+ students per year. Collaborated with curriculum facilitator and supervisor to develop educational support for cross-curricular areas of language arts, math, and science.

Directed our school-wide (K-8) annual International Night by using interactive lessons and activities to engage students, teachers and surrounding business community, leading to 25% increase in stakeholder satisfaction.

Designed and taught 5th and 6th grade standards based ELA instruction. Collaborated with stakeholders and supervisors to map out English Language Arts standards based instruction with a focus on reading comprehension for scholars at various skill levels. Based on EOG data, there was an 86% growth rate among 5th and 6th grade scholars.

Taught 6th grade math and reading for 1 year each using standards based instruction. Collaborated with peers and supervisors to grow classroom management skills, strengthening lesson planning strategies, and increasing scholar engagement in lessons.

Collaborated with lead teacher to provide support for students with diverse learning needs by applying strategies to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), facilitating specialized instruction, and managing behaviors under teacher supervision.
