- Collaborated with other teachers and administrators to create a system of math screeners for our school to revise our response to intervention system.
- Develops lesson plans and schedules each week in advance to promote maximum student learning and enrichment all of which are available to parents and students via teacher's website and newsletters
- Adapts teaching methods and materials to meet students' varying needs and interests were they are currently in math. My developmental plan for all 6th grade students is for them to grow a year in a year in their math skills. As of March 85% of 6th students have grown a year in a year, regardless of where they started.
- Trained in Project Based Learning through the Buck Institute (30+ hours) and has successfully implemented these skills multiple times throughout the year to engage and extend our students' learning.
