Over the last 25 years as an educator I have been blessed with many opportunities. I have been a part of Harvard’s Data wise initiative and spent 26 hours learning at Harvard. Additionally, I still refresh learning in this area by taking EdX courses and showing others the Data wise initiative during my participation as a member of the ILT.
As a teacher who is constantly learning I am always looking to expand my learning. I have been a member of the SLT and have been a mentor for student teachers and other cohorts.
I have represented my current school at the District 12 Share Fair more than once and have also represented my school during the PPO multiple times. I was nominated for Teacher of the Year for the Readers’ Digest and placed Top 10 in my group.
I create resources that have been used throughout my school including but not limited to a Flow of the Day which highlights district expectations.
Teachers often ask for support in creating Interactive Google Slides which have been handmade and adapted for the HMH curriculum in Reading and Math, as well.
I am certified in Literacy Education.
I have completed all required certifications, as well.
