• MAGNET VICE PRESIDENT, Being able to join part of the process improvement council at the University of Miami hospital to make improvements in the operating room in order to keep staff morale high and to make the necessary changes for patient safety and efficiency in the workplace.

• SYSTEM UPGRADE, At Mercy Hospital a system wide integration to EMR began with staff and computer professionals developing a system for documentation that worked with the specificities that only belonged at that hospital. Being part of the team for several months that developed the software that was to be used throughout the hospital was enlightening.
• SHARED GOVERNANCE, At Mercy hospital as a floor nurse on 8 Carroll there were many improvements that were initiated due to the practice counsel and as the president, I helped organize meetings and facilitate the communication between departments in order to enable change.
