Erica Martin

I am responsible for the instruction of students and daily operations of the library program at the elementary school level. I have the primary responsibility for the functions of the school library which include evaluation and selection, ordering and processing, utilization of media, and the instructional role, which includes both formal and information instruction in library, media and technology information skills as well as assistance to students and staff in locating, evaluating and using library media materials and technologies.

• Planned lessons according to district standards to cover requirements and prepare for standardized tests.
• Prepared and administered grade-specific tests and examinations regulated by school district to monitor students' growth and to report progress to parents.
• Helped students develop self-esteem and life skills by fostering healthy conflict-resolution, critical thinking, and communication.
