I would be working by myself, which included me opening and closing by myself every weekend.
I would open the workplace and turn on all the lights, bounce houses and check all the bathrooms. After that I would get all my cleaning supplies to get ready to clean between parties which included the cleaning solution, vacuum, mop, broom and rags. I would also do paperwork for the parties that I would be having that day, which would be how much is in the register, the waiver of liability forms, and missed paperwork from the day before. After I have done all day then I would wait for the first party to arrive and talk to them about rules and liability and then I would repeat that party after party.
When I start to close, I would make sure my whole party was out of the building before I locked the doors. Then I would start to wipe down the tables and sweep the floor in the bounce house area and after that I would run around and turn off all the bounce houses and then I would start on the main area where the party was held which I would clean the tables, sweep, the floor and then mop after that I would check the bathrooms and take out the trash. After all of that I would finish up the rest of the paperwork I had left and then I would turn off the lights and leave the building.

I was a hostess for Red Robin for only a short time due to school starting. My job responsibilities were to seat, welcome, and make sure the restaurant moved smoothly during the time I was there. I would also help clean for the servers, run food, and do the to-go orders when I had nothing else to do.
I would mostly be on the weekends due to school starting but when I did work, I would most of the time be a hostess but sometimes I did get put on to-gos. I would also train people. During the time when I was scheduled to be a hostess, I was seating people in the order of the server rotation which I had to follow, greeting and welcoming people to the restaurant, answered any questions anyone had, answer the phone when it runged, help servers clearing tables, made sure the restaurant was up to date with the space.
I would also train people when I was there due to me being the most experienced hostess there for only three weeks but during that time I would be training someone for hostess but also doing to-go orders. While I was doing to-go orders, I would have to watch the door in case someone was walking in. I would answer the phone for to-go orders and cash people out at the same time and stock up any supplies that I was running out in the back.

During this time I would be going to school and right to this job but it was only for about an hour or two. My job responsibilities were to make sure kids got to the right spot for the after school program, help with homework, make sure kids did not get hurt, made sure kids were going to the right parents and had all their stuff.
I would work every day of the week except the weekend. I would get there right as the kids were getting out of school and sometimes I was with the older kids which were the 2nd graders and up but most of the time I was with the pre-schoolers through 1st graders. When I was with the little kids it would require more things like making sure they went to the bathroom when they needed to and making sure they didn't run out the gate and go into the street. But when I was with the older kids I just had to make sure they were not fighting and running up the stairs without an adult.
When the time has come I would talk to the parents if anything went on with their child or anything they needed to be updated on and while snack time was there I would help prepare and pass it out and made sure everyone got germ-x. There were some fights which included punching, kicking, and biting which I had to use my best judgment and put some kids in timeout and explain on why you should never do those things. After all of that I would just make sure the kids did not get hurt and were having fun.
