I always had an attraction to forensics ever since I watched the TV show the flash, where Barry Allen exempted form being the flash was a CSI. The following year I was a freshman taking Honors biology and principals of biomedical science. In this particular year 2020-2021 COVID was the main topic; while learning in class about general biology, and body itself while simultaneously watching the news about current updates in the vaccine. Dr. Fauci and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, their current sightings on the development of the vaccine and how the virus effects the body and what it does to the immune system. My brain flushed many ideas ranging from immunology to vaccine developer. Although this has always been and interest of mine because my dad works for Walter Reed biomedical research institute; and every summer starting from 4th grade I attended a STEM bootcamp and was exposed to everything from medicine and biochemistry to how they make vaccines. In an alternative part of my personality and what I seem as “fun” I have always loved argument and credibility in career terms LAW! I have always been called “Ms. Little Lawyer” because of how I approach a situation where I defend my status or someone else's. Plus, every aspect of a lawyer I adore and find fascinating because the confidence and the rhetoric one must be to show true facts and provide justice. In addition, I love the irony and sarcasm most lawyers have, and how well rounded they are in their field that when their role gets tampered with the comeback is crazy. Which I have been called to have from various family and friends. Rules and regulations with always have my heart although I have been exposed to so much of medicine and biology in my high school years and had prior interest before getting any education of the sort. I have decided medicine/nursing is my main “focus”. Whether that is premedical student which I doubt or nursing which will results in becoming a pediatric nurse partitioner. Indeed, I have a passion for how bacteria and viruses effect the body and how the body reacts to new medicine and trying to advance the progress of cancer treatment. I know myself and have low patience those may not fit in my categorical list. I want adventure and travel and new experiences. If I must choose that path, it will just disrupt the excitement I have for myself. I will just have push that on the side for when I am done “living”.
