Primarily performs maintenance duties to FAA standards, which include skilled and semi-skilled level work required to maintain the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport’s airfields, grounds, and roadway maintenance functions. The work may be in close proximity of aircraft operations. Typical work includes snow and ice control on airfield and in public areas such as roadways and terminal areas. Performs grounds keeping, concrete and asphalt pavement repairs, truck driving, mowing, weeding, fence installation and repair, garbage removal and general cleanup of the airfield and public areas of the airport.

Work with both fleet shop and night warehouse management to ready equipment for use. Support the night truck spotters to organize the truck yard. Assist the fleet shop and with any special project when needed. Manage the wash bay and inventory for the wash bay.

Acting as the primary customer service associate for our client(s). Patrolling buildings, facilities, or work sites. Monitoring activity and access in assigned areas. Investigating and reporting hazards or suspicious circumstances. Enforcing rules and regulations. Logging any suspicious events or activity. Verbally de-escalating conflict. Responding to alarms. Securing doors and windows.

Supports data accuracy, compliance processes, packaging preservation, proper binning, issuing, receiving and shipping of material managed in the store's operation. Responsible for safe operation of mechanical and manual materials handling equipment. Responsible for the safe operation of company vehicles. Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

Perform inspections on all inbound and outbound intermodal units using an automated computerized gate system and/or handheld device along with conducting any trouble shooting steps needed. Perform yard inventory and daily report then dispatching the information/reports out to the required personal. Other duties as assigned or needed.
