My teaching journey has been characterized by a comprehensive and diverse range of experiences, from serving as a 3rd-6th grade teacher at Acero Charter Schools, where I facilitated math programs, promoted balanced literacy, and championed social justice-centered education, to my role as a 5th and 3rd-grade teacher at Chicago Public Schools' Martha M. Ruggles Elementary, where I excelled in preparing students for standardized testing and implementing innovative teaching methodologies, including project-based learning.

My dedication extends beyond the classroom, as evidenced by my involvement in various extracurricular activities, such as serving as the Student Council Advisor and coaching volleyball teams. Additionally, I have consistently been recognized for my contributions, earning accolades such as Teacher of the Year at UNO Sandra Cisneros Charter School and Volunteer of the Year from the San Diego Girl Scouts Council.

Dedicated and accomplished educator with over two decades of experience in the field of education and a relentless commitment to fostering student success. Armed with two Master of Education degrees, one in Language, Literacy, and Learning, and the other in Special Education (LBS1), I have consistently demonstrated a passion for creating equitable learning environments and empowering students to achieve their full potential.
