• Oversaw a crew of 2-4 in the installation of network cables. Fiber, CAT5,6,6A, as well as low voltage cabling for PA, CCTV, and AV systems.
• Tested and Certified ALL cables installed.
• Facilitated communications between Client, Project Managers, and Vendor to insure materials were accounted for and progress was being reported along with any issues.

Some projects I worked on listed below

• Call centers such as Conduent, Alorica, and Maximus. Installing new data lines complete with testing and certification to pass inspections.
• El Paso Courthouse (Federal and Municipal) Installed a new fiber backbone from DMARC in basement, penetrating several floors to allow the installation of a new rack for a new office department. Complete with CAT6 wiring to meet all needs.
• Otero County Prison I oversaw several projects. Notable ones including the installation of troubleshoot of the fiber system connecting the Sheriffs building to the main prison.

Initially started as a helper/trainee for the Lead Splicer. Learned and assisted in the installation of fiber. After being promoted I oversaw the projects such as

• Assisting the pull crew with pulling the fiber through conduit underground to the assigned location. (handhole, manhole, aerial case)
• Oversaw the rough in and splicing of the fiber. Including building the case, service looping, lashing to the guide wire for aerial, and installing any aerial conduit to the poles.
• Tested and certified ALL splices. Using the Exfo system to conduct OTDR and OLTS testing.
• Troubleshoot pre existing fiber lines. Using all tools such as lasers, microscopes, and exfo to find any damaged or poor splices to repair.

• Installing the majority of Verizon fiber in El Paso. \
• The Hopsitals Of Providence fiber backbones
• Intrepid Potash Mines I assisted in the auditing and testing of all above ground fiber on the plant.
• Border Patrol training camp in Artesia, NM. We installed a underground fiber system

Assisted with geo-mitigation operations all over the Rocky mountains.

Assisted in drilling, concrete, and rockfall.

Operated skid steer, forklift.

Operated and maintained weapons systems.
