-Thrust Reverser Overhaul

• Review and go over SRM,CMM, or any other technical data pertaining to the repairs, specs and overhaul requirements.
• Full disassembly of unit, bag and tag every part to be easily identifiable and staged in a secure location.
• Removal of damage parts.
• Repairing or replacing of all parts needed to complete the overhaul.
• full unit reassembly
• Final function testing to ensure unit is ready to go back in service.
• Countersinking on sheetmetal making sure rivets or hiloks are flush with the part.
• Masking off parts, and applying sealent.
• Masking parts in general and spraying primer 10-11,etc.
• Using drills to make new holes or drill out rivets,cherry rivets.
• Using drill guides and drill stops so everything can come out perfect on a new fabricated part.
• Shooting rivets with rivet guns , also pulling Cherry rivets with cherry guns.
• Using different types of squeezes when needed.
• Fod check , always masking sure there’s no type of fod in a part , clean part and use vacuum , getting inspection for a ok to close , after everything is clean and no fod.
• Measuring holes making sure to drill with right drill bit 40,30,21etc.
• Sweging bearings and replacing
• Knocking out bushings and replacing bushings.
• Using different reamers to ream holes to the exact size.
