In my current role I work closely with all PNW facilities helping generate solutions and ideas that help bridge operational/ customer needs with our current WMS. This includes billing processes, new customer onboarding, PID processes, EDI configuration and compliance. Directly oversee clerical team in Tacoma and Algona .Responsible for growing and developing leaders in our Region to help educate our business partners so that they can make sound decisions and drive results. Examples would be capacity tracker, accessorial tracking and tariff education. Create strategies to minimize gaps to action plans.

As the Transportation Manager I was responsible for carrier selection, rate negotiation and analysis, load consolidation, dray, truckload and LTL routing, international shipment tracking and coordination as well as documentation, freight billing, freight claims, and carrier payments. Quoted rates to customers as well as coordinated rail movement for both BNSF and UP.
As the AGM I was responsible for performance objectives (KPI's) and strategic planning as well as labor planning. Established procedures for inbound and outbound shipments. Accountable for achieving company objectives in regards to cost, productivity, customer service and employees. Assigned work, held daily team meetings while working closely with facility engineer.
As the GM I was responsible for the managing of all aspects of the warehouse and office from customer service , problem solving, enforcement, discipline, labor tracking, profit analysis, customer relationships, inventory control and mentoring team to meet overall objectives. Heavily involved in interviewing and hiring of new team members.
As the Office Manager I was responsible for all aspects of customer service from customer satisfaction, team engagement, training to coaching and mentoring. Managed daily administrative and personnel matters while coordinating with operations, traffic and inventory. Reviewed invoices for accuracy as well as coordinated with accounts receivable on short pays and late pays. Trouble shoot any customer errors such as miss shipments and damages. Worked closely with Sales to ensure smooth onboarding. We operated as a CFS and FTZ (bonded warehouse) and I was responsible for maintaining all record keeping associated with these loads and communicating with Customs.
