  • KATRINA ON THE GROUND, K.O.T.G, SPRING BREAK 2006- As a community service initiative with my college, North Carolina Central University, I organized with the Student Government Association to gather approximately 85 students to volunteer their spring break helping the victims of Hurricane Katrina in Biloxi, Mississippi, Mobile Alabama, and surrounding areas of the Gulf Coast
  • TOMS SHOES BAREFOOT WALK - in association with the YMCA of the Triangle April 5, 2011. The barefoot walk that year as seen on ABC11 brought about 500 citizens to walk 2 miles around downtown Durham which represented the children worldwide that can't afford to wear shoes on a daily basis
