Ive been working as a at home mechanic all my life. while i was driving over the road as a truck driver. I started working in the oil field right out of high school. i worked as a crew hand also as a laydown operator as well. I went to work as a salt water disposal operator, I do have experience gauging tanks and separating the oil form the water. I got laid off from reef and got my class a cdl and wen to work over the road as a truck driver off and on from different trucking company's, i worked at key energy as a mechanic up until the laid a bunch of employee off including me. i went back to truck driving and eventually bought my own truck. i performed all the repairs and service on my own truck. I sold my truck because I'm tired of being away from the family for 3 to 4 weeks at a time. I'm looking for a good stable job for long term I'm a fast learner. I am willing to relocate if needed.
Mechanic Experience:
The mechanic experience i have is with semi trucks and trailers, vacuum trucks, and light duty trucks. I know how to use Cummins Insite, I can work on HVAC, hydraulic and air brakes, i can replace light and heavy duty clutches. Anything with drive line wheel seals, bearings, suspension, and steering. I can preform PM's. I have done DOT inspections as well. I can perform over heads, replace heads, camshaft, water pump, seals, air pump, fuel injectors, and turbos. I've changed rear engine seals on the clutch housing, changed crank seals, electrical wiring, as well as some hydraulic work on heavy equipment. I have done ABS work on trailers and trucks. The most common engine i have worked on is Cummins. I've worked on Cat, Detroit 12.7,14L. Most of my experience is at home jobs but there are some in my resume as well. I do have a little welding experience and I can use a cutting torch. I also have experience working on heavy machinery.
