Relation to Privacy Engineering:

• Planned & Implemented OneTrust client & OneTrust Cloud implementations for all Web/Native apps
• Ensured all Web/Native apps followed GDPR, GSA, CCPA, Kids, and other legal requirements for tracking
• Implemented tracking integrations such as first-party data pipelines, Adobe products, and many more third-party vendor integrations to only track when allowed in Web/Native app contexts.

Overview:

• Lead Engineer for Web/Connected devices for Pluto TV
• Utilize Tealium, Adobe Edge, Snowplow/Snowflake, and many other tracking technologies to ensure quality data across Pluto TV apps
• Acted as Program and Project manager for all tracking initiatives on these apps
• Provided thought leadership and mentoring for younger Data Engineers

Accomplishments:

• Ensured consistent Architectural design for our entire Data Quality initiative across Web/Native/Connected TV devices. This included the underlying technology used to track and ensuring consistency of data across all platforms.
• Implemented ad crediting solutions (Like Nielsen) that added more than $25 million in ad revenue yearly
• Ensured no privacy law issues AND caught all infractions within a short period of time to solve and prevent from happening again.

Relation to Privacy Engineering:

• Was the lead privacy engineer for all Disney privacy tech
• Worked with a privacy team to ensure OneTrust was integrated on all Disney websites & some apps
• Stayed up to date with current privacy laws/regulations and ensured Disney compliance
• Helped implement a privacy anomaly detection system that would warn us if tracking was occurring in non-consented contexts.
• Acted as a Data Engineer with a privacy title.

Overview:

• Worked with Ensighten & OneTrust to build onto their tech stacks to implement a privacy solution that ensured compliance with tracking regulations on all Disney websited and some apps.
• Worked with many third-party vendors to implement tracking libraries & UI notification systems like Braze.
• Implemented a CDP (mParticle) to facilitate easier tracking for integrations that don't need a client SDK
• Used AWS resources to create multiple Privacy Tech processes that allowed us to detect when anomalies were occurring in tracking. Using EKS/Kubernetes, API Gateway, and a full CI/CD process involving GitHub workflows.
• Handled most project management for all Privacy Tech related analytics projects.

Accomplishments:

• Anomaly detection system that ensures no non-compliance with Disney tracking on websites and some apps. Estimated savings of $50 million dollars in infraction risk mitigation
• A consistent data quality initiative. A data layer that could be used on websites and apps for core tracking. This included CDP implementation for native apps.

Relation to Privacy Engineering:

• Worked as a do-all for any clients that needed analytics implementations tied to their privacy tech.
• This included clients like Okta, Elemis, multiple banks, and more. We were a service team farmed out to implement effective analytics strategies on client websites, apps, and connected tvs.
• This included using OneTrust, CookieBot, and many more Privacy CMP technlogies
• Had to come up to speed with client tech stacks and either implement Privacy tech for them or implement analytics integrations in their current privacy tech stack

Overview:

• Head of technical implementation for any client based work
• This included:
• Analytics tool usage like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Snowplow and other first-party logging tools
• Privacy tech tools like OneTrust, Didomi, and Cookiebot
• Cloud orchestration and continous delivery tools like AWS Cloudformation, GitHub actions, and many other CI/CD tools
• Delivered first party analytics setups like Snowplow
• Ensured data ETL processes and build data pipelines using Snowflake, Fivetran, DataBricks, and many more
• Any analytics integration needed both as a full-stack engineer & solutions architect

Accomplishments:

• Okta Snowplow to Big Query orchestration.
• Many ETL setups using FiveTran, Data Bricks, and more. Piloted Matillion
• CDP setup for InfluxDB using Rudderstack
• Many implementations of Google Analytics (360), Adobe Analytics, and other marketing analytics tools.
