I was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, and spent my first 11 years growing up in California before returning to Guadalajara, where I have lived since. This bicultural experience has deeply shaped my personal development, adaptability, and the way I understand people and their emotional processes.
I come from a business-oriented family, which gave me structure and discipline from an early age. At the same time, I have experienced several personal and emotional challenges that strongly influenced my decision to study psychology. Those experiences didn’t push me away from the field — they pulled me toward it.
Along my academic path, I have completed several psychology-related diploma programs, including training in the diagnosis and understanding of depressive disorders, as well as alternative and mind–body approaches. These experiences confirmed that psychology is the path I want to continue pursuing in life.
At this point, I feel ready to move into a new stage: gaining closer, hands-on exposure to the helping side of psychology. I am interested in volunteering or entry-level opportunities that allow me to support others, shifting from a place of receiving help to one of contributing, while continuing to learn and grow through service and human connection.
